Some history, from 1863
The Gentili srl is a Company specialized in renovation of ancient Churches, Palaces and Monument in Tuscia’s territory.
The Company was established in 1863 by Giuseppe Gentili in Bagnoregio (VT) following the tradition of the Guild of Master Builders throght 6 generations, from father to son until today.
The 1st generation is Giuseppe Gentili who in 1863 worked at the maintenance of the road from Bagnoregio to Montefiascone.
The 2nd generation is Bonaventura Gentili who started his activity in 1897 restoring the Community Hall Palace in Bagnoregio and the road from Bagnoregio to Civita di Bagnoregio.
The 3rd generation is Nello Gentili who restored the XVIII century Cristofori Palace in Bagnoregio, the SS.Annunziata Church and Monastery of Agostinian Fathers in Bagnoregio starting his activity in 1920s.
The 4th generation is Antonio Gentili who started his activity after the WWII.
The established profitable collaboration with the “Soprintendenze” of Lazio’s districts (Roma, Viterbo, Rieti).
After the Earthquake of 1971, he was encharged of the restore of the S. Peter Church in Tuscania, seriously damaged (Front and Apse).
The 5th generation is Nello Gentili jr., who operated in the 80’ at the restore of S. Flaviano Church and Santa Maria in Montedoro both in Montefiascone (VT).
The 6th generation is Andrea e Nicolò Gentili who started their activity restoring in 2000s the Templar Site of Castell’Araldo in Marta (VT) and Luciano Bonaparte Palace in Canino (VT).
